The Recording Academy recently announced the date for the 2024 GRAMMYs, which will be held on Sunday, February 4th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The 2024 GRAMMYs, also known as the 66th GRAMMY Awards, will be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM ET (5:00 PM to 8:30 PM PT). Additionally, the event will be available for streaming on Paramount+ for both live viewing and on-demand access for Paramount+ subscribers with SHOWTIME, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers starting the day after the special airs.
Excitingly, the 2024 GRAMMYs will introduce three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording. These groundbreaking additions are part of a broader series of updates and revisions that will be implemented immediately at the 2024 GRAMMYs. The aim of these changes, as stated by Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr., is to enhance the fairness, transparency, and accuracy of the GRAMMY Awards process.
