Prince David Osei has consistently been open about his political affiliations.
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he believes God has called him to lead the nation, expressing his presidential aspirations.
Additionally, the Ghanaian actor, who has also made a name for himself in Nollywood, criticized his colleagues in the political arena who hesitate to disclose their political loyalties to their fans, labelling them as cowards.
He made these remarks during an interview with Serwaa Amihere on GHOne.
“If you are doing politics, obviously you need to interact with the people; you need to speak to the people; you need to get to the people. So, when you say those who do politics secretly, then whoever is doing that is a coward, or the person is not proud of what they are saying,” he said during
He further added; “The kind of personality I possess, I’m very assertive. I’m always gentle in spirit, but if I have to do something, I put in my all.”
He also expressed his long-term goal, stating, “You know, the long-term goal is to serve. Whatever I’m doing now is not for today. As the president of Ghana one day, it’s not about what I want to be. I’ve been ordained to be by God.”
“It’s one step at a time. Initially, I used to speak; I used to write stuff and post on my page. But, as you know, quite recently, I was invited to speak at the manifesto. So it’s a graduation from one step to the next.”
