Ohemaa Mercy has recently shared insights into the circumstances surrounding her infamous divorce from her husband, Mr. Twum-Ampofo, emphasizing the significant influence of divine guidance in their separation.
The acclaimed artist revealed during an interview with Coco Tee on TV3 that she felt a clear directive from God to proceed with the divorce.
Mercy explained that she began the divorce process after this revelation, and her husband agreed to it amicably, without any difficulties.
She also reminded the audience that her decision to divorce was not made impulsively.
“I didn’t just get up one day and decided to divorce my husband. I took it to God in prayer.
“I was committed to doing the Lord’s work and I knew marriage was somewhat going to hinder it.
“So I sort His permission and approval before deciding to divorce him,” Ohemaa Mercy said during thr interview.
