Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, isn’t here for the hate. After her father’s performance at SNL 50: The Anniversary Special sparked mixed reactions, she wasted no time shutting down critics.
Wayne, backed by The Roots, delivered a medley that included his hit Mrs. Officer. While some fans applauded the performance, others took to social media to critique it.
Reginae, however, wasn’t having it.

“Y’all are some d riders!” she fired back on Instagram. “My dad been having fun performing for years! He is truly himself when he hits the stage. Go play with y’all mf kids… He collected a check after this… What y’all get for hating? Not a damn thing!”
This isn’t the first time Reginae has defended her father. She recently weighed in on debates about whether Wayne should have headlined the Super Bowl halftime show instead of Kendrick Lamar.
