Ghanaian socialite and former Miss Malaika contestant, Gisela Amponsah, has ignited a heated debate on social media after sharing her frustrations with a furniture brand over a GH¢30,000 purchase.
In a video making the rounds online, Gisela expressed her dissatisfaction with the furniture she received, particularly from one of the brands she collaborated with, Furniture by Pinkfriday.
“At the beginning of the process, I was ecstatic about working with two furniture brands, that is Interior by Hey and Furniture by Pinkfriday, but I am so disappointed in Pinkfriday’s service,” she said.

Recounting her ordeal, Gisela explained, “She brought a tiny couch, and when I complained, she told me she was going to attach some but later brought me the same thing.
“She is also disrespectful. You are ranting about your frustration, and she will be acting like you are disrespecting her. Also, her workers will be telling you to watch your tone. How can I do that because I have spent so much money on this furniture? Who would want to spend thirty thousand on furniture and get this disappointment after waiting for weeks?”
In response, Pinkfriday refuted Gisela’s claims, accusing her of exaggeration and dishonesty. “She didn’t give me any measurements.
“Why don’t you ask her to show the chat where she paid it? Why are you taking sides without proof? When we delivered the couch, you said it’s small. You ordered 5 in 1, why were you expecting 6 in 1? Aside from that, you loved everything,” she countered, claiming Gisela paid GH¢18,000 instead of the alleged GH¢30,000 and even received discounts.
