Efia Odo has criticized Ghanaians for their excessive focus on insignificant matters rather than addressing the challenges facing the country and demanding accountability from its leaders.
She candidly expressed that the discussions following her podcast with Gisela Amponsah, which gained significant attention on social media, reflect a serious misallocation of priorities, indicating why she feels Ghanaians are not worth advocating for.
Efia pointed out that the public seems more concerned with her personal relationships and the celebrities she has slept or sleeping with, as highlighted in the podcast, instead of engaging with more urgent societal issues.
She conveyed these sentiments through a series of posts on X after a fan slammed Ghanaians for overly discussing the podcast instead of doing something productive.
“Some of the youth in Ghana are h0rny! You see how y’all are talking about Efia Odo and Kwesi Arthur because s€x was somehow involved, crucifying Gisela for whatever she said about her dad, and y’all didn’t pay attention to the latter part of the podcast. We’re not serious!” The tweep wrote.
Reacting, Efia Odo said;
“It goes to show that we don’t take serious things seriously in this country. They’re more concerned about who I Dey chop. So why fight for these people anyway,” she wrote in displeasure.
