Obibini has mentioned that Ghanaians are losing their sense of pride in their heritage due to the challenging economic conditions prevailing in the country.
During his conversation with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Obibini highlighted the decline in the quality of life for the average Ghanaian under the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo as a significant factor contributing to people’s desire to leave the country.
This discussion further emphasized the ongoing discourse surrounding the comparison between Dutch Passports and Ghana’s PhD debate.
He stated on Cape Coast-based Property FM “Someone will proudly say that I’ll take a Dutch passport over Ghanaian PhD because of the hardships we are going through and you can’t lie it’s a fact.
“I’m not going to lie to you about the current conditions of Ghanaians which are very woeful and pathetic making most people not feel proud of staying in our country.
“But rather we want somebody’s country because when you go there they respect your labour, they don’t cheat you, and you’re paid according to the number of hours that you work,” he observed
“So in about 12 months you have something solid you can look at and say that you’ve not wasted the year but per our economic woes it’ll depend because others are making it big here as well.
He added “The person making it here might not need a Dutch passport but someone also needs it to work abroad to build properties here in Ghana God blesses people in so many ways”.
