Ghanaian rapper Gambo is actively seeking opportunities to elevate his career and establish himself as a prominent artiste. In pursuit of this goal, he recently collaborated with Grammy-award-winning American rapper Timberland.
According to a report, Gambo is currently collaborating with experienced engineers, producers, and record label executives from the American music industry to ensure the success of his upcoming album.
One of his notable collaborations is with renowned musician Jim Jones, as they work together to finalize the remix of his hit song, ‘Drip’. Additionally, Gambo is collaborating with several other artists for his debut studio album.
During the YouTube Avenue event in Miami, Gambo had the chance to meet Timberland, Mack Main (President of Young Money), Harry O (co-founder of Death Row Records), and Rance (a four-time Grammy award-winner and producer for Jezzy 444 Album). His electrifying performance at the event left a lasting impression on the attendees.
Furthermore, Gambo also had the opportunity to connect with Carva Tee, a records executive, and Tumbasa, the Head of YouTube Africa, during the YouTube Avenue event.
In 2023, Gambo embarked on his first North American tour, performing in major cities across the US for six months. Upon his return to Ghana on July 15th, he received a warm welcome from his fans at the Kotoka International Airport. This homecoming followed the successful release of his popular street anthem.
