Following his release on bail, Funny Face wasted no time in heading to a nearby beach to find solace and connect with God as he embarked on a fresh start in his life.
The popular comedian was granted bail by the Kasoa District Court, with two sureties, after being held in police custody due to a tragic accident.
The accident occurred on the Kasoa-Nyanyano Kakraba highway on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Currently, two of the victims are receiving medical treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, while the remaining two are being cared for at the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa.
In an exclusive interview with Kofi TV, Funny Face expressed his belief that only Jehovah can help him regain his position in the entertainment industry.
With this in mind, he sought solace and guidance from God at the beach, hoping to find the strength to rebuild his career.
He also provided an update on the condition of the victims involved in the well-known Kasoa accident, stating that they are recovering well and responding positively to treatment.
Contrary to rumours circulating about their demise, Funny Face clarified that no one has lost their life and that everyone is in stable condition.
The comedian, whose real name is Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, explained that the accident occurred when he swerved to avoid a collision with a motorcyclist and their passenger, inadvertently hitting a woman and her grandchild.
In light of the situation, Funny Face appealed to the Ghanaian public to assist in covering the hospital expenses, as he currently lacks the financial means to do so himself.
