In a recent radio discussion moderated by Ola Michael, two radio pundits shed light on the reasons behind Funny Face’s financial challenges.
According to one of the pundits, Funny Face’s fallout with his benefactors, namely Bola Ray, Adebayor, and Fadda Dickson, has played a significant role in his current predicament.
It is believed that since his verbal altercation with them, these individuals have cut ties with him, resulting in grave consequences for his financial stability.
Furthermore, the pundit highlighted that, despite Funny Face charging a substantial amount of GHC 60,000 during his prime, his colleagues, such as OB Amponsah, were only charging GHC 7,000.
However, despite this significant difference in fees, Funny Face still finds himself in a state of financial hardship due to the bridges he burned with his benefactors.
Additionally, the pundit mentioned that Funny Face’s encounter with a psychiatric hospital following his bipolar diagnosis has had a detrimental impact on his brand and has limited his ability to secure ambassadorial deals.
In his words, this has exacerbated his financial struggles.
Tru News Report previously revealed how the ‘Cow and Chicken’ revealed on social media that he was broke.
After his bipolar disorder and the subsequent drama, Funny Face, whose real name is Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, revealed in his emotional post that he is still struggling financially and has yet to recover.
In a post that was brought to light by Tru News Report, Funny Face revealed that he is barely able to afford his daily meals due to the depletion of his resources.
Additionally, he mentioned that his financial situation is further exacerbated by the fact that he has burned bridges with his previous benefactors, such as Bola Ray and Adebayor. As a result, Funny Face says he is still unable to regain his financial stability.
