Veteran actor David Schwimmer, best known for playing Ross Geller on Friends, is urging Hollywood’s biggest names to publicly condemn antisemitism, stressing that silence is no longer an option.
Speaking at the Anti-Defamation League’s Never is Now conference, Schwimmer did not hold back in addressing what he sees as a troubling rise in antisemitic rhetoric and violence.

He called on fellow actors, directors, producers, and influential figures in the industry to use their platforms to speak out against hate, emphasizing that staying quiet only enables bigotry to thrive.
Schwimmer, who has long been an outspoken advocate against hate speech, has previously confronted antisemitism online.
Recently, he criticized Kanye West for his repeated antisemitic remarks, calling on Elon Musk to permanently remove him from X (formerly Twitter) for spreading harmful rhetoric.
The actor has also used his voice to challenge stereotypes and misinformation, pushing for greater awareness in both the entertainment industry and society at large.
