In light of the growing conversation on social media sparked by revelations from Portia Asare, Kalybos, and several other actors regarding the prevalence of juju in Kumawood, actor Frank Naro has disclosed the reasons behind his departure from the acting scene.
He stated that his life was endangered by juju practices within the industry, leading him to decide to cease acting for his own safety.
Frank Naro recounted his experience during an interview with celebrity blogger Zionfelix.
He revealed that while filming what turned out to be his final movie in the past six years, he inadvertently stepped on a juju intended for another individual.
During the production, which involved him, the late Bishop Nyarko, and Maame Serwaa, they were shooting in a forest in Dodowa. Following one of the scenes, he experienced severe swelling in his legs.
After requesting medical assistance, his condition deteriorated to the point where the attending physician suggested amputation to save his life.
The former child actor, who has transitioned into music, shared that he and his family opposed this drastic measure and instead sought spiritual intervention, which ultimately led to his recovery.
