Brandon Hantz, a former contestant on Survivor, has been arrested on charges of arson and conspiracy to commit racketeering.
The 33-year-old reality TV personality, best known for his dramatic outbursts on Survivor: South Pacific and Survivor: Caramoan, is now facing allegations of involvement in organized crime.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas, Hantz is among 14 individuals indicted in connection with the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
Authorities claim the gang has been engaged in a violent turf war with a rival group, B*EAST, leading to multiple crimes, including murder, attempted murder, and assault since 2019.
Prosecutors allege that Hantz, who reportedly goes by the nicknames “Loco” and “Gun Drop,” played a role in the gang’s criminal activities.
If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison for each charge.
The indictment details a series of violent attacks orchestrated to eliminate rival factions from the Houston area, with authorities confirming that ten of the accused have already been arrested, while four remain at large.
For fans of Survivor, Hantz is remembered for his fiery temper and controversial gameplay.
His second appearance on Survivor: Caramoan ended in chaos when his aggressive behaviour led his tribe to forfeit an Immunity Challenge just to vote him out.
He is also the nephew of infamous Survivor villain Russell Hantz, who made a name for himself through cutthroat gameplay and strategic deception.
