For Me, I Will Say There Is Hope – Prof Nsaidoo on 2025 Budget

Economist Prof. William Brafu Nsaidoo has expressed optimism about the government’s 2025 budget, encouraging Ghanaians to adopt a patient and hopeful approach.

Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV, he emphasized that the budget presents prospects for economic progress.

“For me, I will say there is hope. There are prospects if you look at the budget carefully,” he stated.

Acknowledging public skepticism, Prof. Nsaidoo urged critics to allow time for the budget’s implementation before concluding.

He suggested that the mid-year review would provide a clearer picture of its effectiveness.

“Rather than being skeptical, why don’t we wait for the mid-year budget and say that I don’t think there is anything substantial?

There is something that is pointing to the fact that we are going to make any inroads,” he explained.
