Change is the only constant in life, and in today’s world, digital transformation is redefining every aspect of human interaction.
From entertainment to commerce, technology has cemented itself as an undeniable force shaping the future.
Nollywood icon Ramsey Nouah recently weighed in on the subject during an interview on Okay FM in Ghana, highlighting the inevitability of digitization and the need for adaptability.
“The world revolves, and that means nothing is permanent. Whether it is good or bad, it will change. So, with the world revolving, we will always find a way. Digital has come to stay, and there is no two ways about that,” Nouah asserted.

His comments reflect a reality that industries worldwide are grappling with. The entertainment sector, in particular, has undergone a seismic shift, with traditional filmmaking, music distribution, and content consumption rapidly evolving in response to digital advancements.
Streaming platforms have largely replaced DVDs, social media now dictates audience engagement, and artificial intelligence is making waves in content creation.
Yet, despite the obvious benefits, resistance to digital change persists, often rooted in nostalgia or fear of the unknown. Addressing this reluctance, Nouah pointed out the futility of resisting progress.
“Whoever is trying to fight it right now does not understand that the world will change. So, the whole point is to find a bearing wherever you find yourself. Digitisation will stay, so people complaining should find a way,” he stated.
