Richard Amofa Sarpong, the manager of Fella Makafui, has informed Joy Entertainment news that the actress was invited by the police and not arrested as some news outlets had sensationalized.
He also debunked claims that Fella was involved in selling or promoting unapproved products, emphasizing that most of the products have already been approved and the rest are in the process of getting endorsed.
The purported arrest was made possible by investigative documentary production company, ISPYGH 247, working in conjunction with the Pharmacy Council Ghana, as shared by Tru News Report earlier today.
Makafui was arrested on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, for participating in illegal activities associated with the sale of unregistered medications.
