Actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Fella Makafui recently headlined the ‘After School, What Next?’ Summit, an event aimed at positioning students for entrepreneurial leadership and helping them secure top jobs.
The summit, held on October 18, 2024, at the Florence Onny Auditorium of the Ghana Communication Technology University, provided a platform for young minds to engage with industry leaders and gain valuable insights on their post-school journey.

Fella, who was the guest speaker, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her gratitude and excitement after the event. “Honored to have spoken at the ‘After School What Next Summit’ yesterday! It was an incredible opportunity to share insights, inspire the next generation, and guide them toward making impactful choices for their future,” she posted.
She emphasized the importance of education as a foundation but highlighted the significance of what follows after school, as that’s where the real journey begins.
“Education is the foundation, but how we apply it after school is where the real journey begins,” she said, urging the students to be proactive in shaping their futures.
The summit, which has become a prestigious national event since its inception in 2014, focused on empowering students and positioning them for leadership in entrepreneurship.
