Born into a farming family, Akua Donkor worked as a cocoa farmer before venturing into politics. She built a strong following among rural communities and was known for advocating for farmers’ welfare and economic policies aimed at uplifting the underprivileged.
Although she never won a presidential election, her presence on the ballot symbolized inclusivity and the idea that leadership was not limited to the elite.
