Ghanaian socialite Samuel Safo, better known as Showboy, has caused a stir on social media after mocking Stonebwoy for being left out of the performers’ list for Vybz Kartel’s upcoming ‘Freedom Concert.’
In a video posted online, Showboy expressed his disappointment with Stonebwoy’s exclusion, claiming that the reason Vybz Kartel didn’t invite the Ghanaian dancehall star was because he speaks “fake patois.”
“You see why Vybz Kartel didn’t invite Stonebwoy? It’s because he speaks fake patois,” Showboy stated in the video.

He didn’t stop there, throwing further shade at Stonebwoy’s musical style. “Shatta Wale, on the other hand, mixes Ga with his music and still gets international recognition. That’s how you do it!”
Showboy’s comments highlight the ongoing rivalry between the two dancehall giants.
The ‘Freedom Concert’ hosted by Jamaican dancehall legend Vybz Kartel has been a highly anticipated event, drawing attention from across the globe.
Vybz Kartel, currently incarcerated, has maintained a powerful influence in the dancehall scene, and the invitation list for his concert is seen as an indicator of who holds sway in the genre internationally.
