Arnold Asamoah Baidoo didn’t mince words as he weighed in on the devastating East Legon accident, suggesting that the tragedy might be tearing apart Bishop Salifu Amoako’s household from the inside.
Speaking on United Showbiz, Arnold observed that Bishop Amoako and his wife might now be grappling with feelings of mutual blame, each questioning the other’s role in raising their son, who was involved in the accident that claimed the lives of two teenage girls.
“In situations like these,” Arnold explained, “it’s common for parents to look inward, wondering where things went wrong.
The father might question if the mother provided enough guidance, while the mother might hold him accountable, thinking he could have been more present or attentive.” He painted a picture of quiet, internal conflict—a private burden that families like Amoako’s often carry when tragedy strikes so close to home.
Arnold went on to acknowledge the profound grief of the victim’s families, but he urged viewers to consider the emotional weight now borne by the Amoako family as well.
“Imagine being both a father and a spiritual leader,” he noted, “only to face a tragedy involving your own child.
It’s a kind of heartbreak and responsibility that challenges even the strongest family bonds.” Arnold’s words gave a new dimension to the public conversation, highlighting that grief and pain are complex forces that ripple outward, affecting everyone involved.
