Eno Barony has firmly rejected the notion of moving abroad and starting a new life away from the music industry.
In recent years, there has been a trend of musicians leaving their music careers behind and relocating to foreign countries.
Some have taken on odd jobs as side gigs, while others have completely turned their backs on music.
During an interview on Property FM, Eno Barony, also known as Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, was asked if she would consider following suit.
She made it clear that the idea of permanently relocating abroad had never crossed her mind.
Eno explained that as a musician, travelling and performing concerts internationally is a natural part of her profession, but she has not entertained the thought of leaving her home country for good.
“I have never thought about abandoning my music career to go and stay abroad permanently and it’s something I’ve not thought about,” she disclosed.
“When you travel abroad and come back to Ghana it’s nice, that one you’re going to perform somewhere abroad and then after you come back which I prefer.
“I don’t think I have ever thought of it that I will seek a visa to go stay abroad permanently and come to Ghana once in a while as for that I’ve not thought about it,” she stressed.
