After widespread speculation that Serwaa Amihere would face consequences for the leaked video, her employers Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB), owners of GHOne TV, have instead shown support and exonerated her of any misconduct.
The media house stated that following a comprehensive investigation, they found no evidence of wrongdoing or violations by Serwaa Amihere about the video in question.
Earlier this year, a video of Serwaa Amihere and her boyfriend Henry Fitz engaging in a private moment surfaced online, prompting wild buzz on the entertainment news landscape.
The video gained widespread attention on social media, sparking rumours that it was recorded in 2019, before Fitz’s marriage.
EIB Network had previously stated its intention to carry out a thorough investigation into the video’s unauthorized release and to share its findings with the public.
Furthermore, EIB Network confirmed its knowledge of legal action taken by the Ghana Police Service against individuals allegedly involved in the dissemination of the video.
