Efia Odo is making headlines once more, this time addressing the prevalence of insincerity in the entertainment industry.
The actress and socialite asserts that genuine friendships are virtually nonexistent within the industry, emphasizing that relationships among industry professionals are primarily transactional rather than personal.
Efia mentioned that she considers only two individuals as friends in the industry, reflecting on the lessons she has learned from her attempts to forge friendships in the world of show business.
Speaking on 3FM Lounge, on Wednesday, August 14, Efia said;
“I feel like this industry, there’s no friendship in this industry. It’s more of acquaintances, business associates, It’s not really friendship.
“Maybe one or two people but in reality, it’s always been like what you can do for me and what I can do for you.”
She continued: “What’s the point in faking it? For me, I have people who I am close to and cool with and after that we go our separate ways…I think I have also learnt a lot about trying to be friends with people in this industry but it’s good.”
