MC Yaa Yeboah has expressed her view on the renewed rivalry between Efia Odo and Sista Afia, stating that while Odo may be beautiful, she does not represent the standard of beauty.
Yeboah emphasized that it is inappropriate to bully someone over their looks, reminding Efia Odo that beauty is subjective and lies in the eyes of the beholder.
She said this on UTV’s popular United Showbiz program.
The conflict between the two started a few days ago when a Twitter user posted a controversial bikini photo of Sista Afia and challenged followers to guess the celebrity.
One Twitter user suggested that it was Efia Odo.
This suggestion offended Efia Odo, who felt disrespected by being mistaken for or compared to Sista Afia.
She quickly responded to the tweep, demanding not to be treated disrespectfully in the future.
When Sista Afia caught wind of Odo’s remarks, she fired back, labeling her an industry puppet and telling her to ‘shut the f*k up.’
“Don’t ever disrespect me like this. I beg you,” Efia Odo wrote.
Replying, Sista Afia said, ”Industry Machine STFUP!!!”
The conflict stirred up online users as anticipated, leading one Twitter user to inquire about the possibility of turning their argument into a real altercation.
Efia Odo promptly responded by stating that she is a beautiful woman with something to defend, unlike Sista Afia, whom she referred to as a ‘gorilla’, and who has nothing to lose.
