Efia Odo expresses regret over protracted feud with Sista Afia, apologises on live TV

The prolonged beef between Efia Odo and Sista Afia has finally concluded, technically speaking.

This resolution came after Efia publicly apologized to Sista Afia on UTV’s United Showbiz, expressing genuine remorse for the insults she directed towards her during their recent feud.

Efia acknowledged on the show, which was monitored by GhanaStreetJournal, that her derogatory remarks towards her opponent were highly regrettable and she should not have said them.

She also mentioned that her newfound faith in Christ led her to reflect on her actions, preventing any further animosity between the two.

Efia further confessed that she initiated the feud with her comments, which provoked a response from Sista Afia, admitting that she was in the wrong.

Viewers who watched the last episode, where Sista Afia shared her side of the story, questioned why Efia Odo was not present in the studio to address the tension.

However, it appears that the producers had a strategy in mind, as Efia Odo’s appearance on the show yesterday, July 27 marked the end of one of the most intense rivalries in Ghana’s entertainment industry.

“I shouldn’t have responded to the person’s tweets and in the way you know I’m bi because, like, no, it’s not a baby.

“So I will apologize to you for this whole brouhaha. It made us ditty ourselves. It takes two to tango, okay? Even though I did what I did, you also responded, and then it made people look at us, people who might even respect us, and go from a brother and grandpa no?

“So obviously, I apologize to anybody that I offended within your camp, within your family, and obviously, within yourself. So I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done what I did. And I don’t think it’s going to happen again, because honestly, I’m tired. Yeah, I know

“I’m going to tell you something. My spirit, you know how some TV cartoons, I suppose, some of them have. Yeah, yeah, I know your shoulders. I don’t know my shoulders. But you’re wasting your head. Yes. And that’s literally how it felt.

“Something would say, go in the way. There’s something to say, no, don’t do it. So then, in the end, no, I said, no, I don’t feel right. And I prayed about what I’m doing.”
