Edem has sensationally mentioned that he wants to contest for a political office on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 21, the award-winning rapper disclosed that he has a big announcement tomorrow accompanied by a flier of himself indicating the political party he will be joining and probably contesting for.
“BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW 4 PM. #Gogetem #FullyActive”, he posted.
Born Denning Edem Hotor, Edem, formerly Ayigbe Edem is a Ghanaian recording artist and entertainer who performs under the name Edem. In 2015, he was awarded Best International Act-Africa at the Black Canadian Awards in Canada.
He released “Witine Woshi,” which means “we came and they ran,” as his first radio hit single in 2006. It became very famous in his area and enhanced his reputation in the underworld.
He formalized his relationship with The Last Two Entertainment Group in that year, which is led by The Last Two hitmaker Hammer. Obrafour, Tinny, and Kwaw Kesse, among other acts, appeared on this label in 1999 and 2005, respectively.
