ECG Schedules Weekend Power Outages in Little Legon, Canadian Embassy And Other Areas

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned maintenance work in parts of the Greater Accra Region over the weekend, which will result in temporary power outages.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9, 2025, the exercise is aimed at improving service delivery and ensuring a more stable power supply.

On Saturday, March 8, power will be interrupted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in areas around the Canadian Embassy.

The following day, Sunday, March 9, outages will occur between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in Little Legon, Abotse Link, the Nestlé Head Office, Noguchi, Fiesta Royal, 335 Place, and surrounding areas.

ECG has apologised for the inconvenience and urged residents and businesses in the affected areas to take the necessary precautions.

The company reassured customers that the maintenance is crucial for enhancing power reliability in the region.
