Security personnel at Drake’s Toronto mansion confronted a third suspected intruder who tried to gain entry to the property, according to TMZ.
On Saturday, May 11, the rapper’s security team reportedly dealt with yet another alleged trespasser at his Toronto residence, marking the third such incident within the week.
Video footage obtained by TMZ shows one of Drake’s security guards restraining a man outside the luxurious estate. This week has seen three separate break-in attempts at Drake’s home.
Witnesses observed two security guards subduing the man, with one of them reportedly using physical force to prevent his escape. The intruder eventually surrendered without causing any major issues for the guards.
Neither Drake’s entourage nor local law enforcement officials have released further information. This latest incident follows a series of alarming events at Drake’s residence, including the apprehension of two other intruders earlier in the week and a drive-by shooting that injured one of his guards.
These incidents occurred in the aftermath of a high-profile rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, during which both artists released diss tracks targeting each other.
Kendrick’s track “Not Like Us,” which featured a Google Maps image of Drake’s home with sex offender markers, was seen as a particularly cutting blow.
