Actor Wayoosi has praised his colleague Dr Likee, also known as Ras Nene, emphasizing his prayerful and humble nature.
The actor shared insights into Likee’s character following Likee’s revelation that he was considering leaving the film industry due to spiritual attacks and sabotage.
In a video posted on TikTok by @frederick_scorpee, Wayoosi highlighted that Dr Likee’s success in the film industry is attributed to his strong faith in God.
He mentioned instances when Dr. Likee invited him to participate in online midnight prayer sessions led by Pastor Elvis Agyemang.
Wayoosi also mentioned that whenever Dr Likee came across a radio or TV station broadcasting the word of God, he would encourage him to join the live session.
According to Wayoosi, these qualities of Dr Likee make him endearing, ensuring that he continues to thrive despite any challenges that come his way.
“He is very prayerful. Akwasi Antwi calls me at 11:30 p.m to tune in to Alpha Hour. Afterwards, he suggested another Christian radio programme for me to listen to. If he is doing this for me, what of those he has trained in the industry?”
As mentioned earlier, Dr Likee announced his decision to retire from acting in an earlier interview.
The mainstream actor gained fame in Kumawood films for his roles as a thug or gangster. He cited constant criticism from his colleagues for not providing enough support as the primary reason for his departure from the movie industry.
Despite his efforts to assist others with their projects, Dr Likee expressed frustration over facing unwarranted attacks from fellow actors.
He emphasized the importance of taking a break to focus on his content creation work and maintain a clear mind.
