Prophet Betang, a Nigerian cleric, has stirred up social media after he uploaded a video in which he claimed to have received a revelation from God telling artist Davido to refrain from using his recently acquired Maybach.
A few weeks ago, the serial hitmaker and award-winning Nigerian superstar took delivery of the massive wheel, which cost $600,000 (N447,000,000).
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the minister said that God had commanded him to advise the artiste to sell the automobile because the devil intended to use it to bring him down. He was heard saying in a video thus;
‘’The lord told me not to use the car he recently bought. Let him sell it, not use it because the devil has planned to use the car to pull him down. God has blessed him but the devil has planned to pull him down. Let him take note of Tuesday and Thursday of the week, I don’t know which week but I saw something very bad. It wasn’t a good thing. He can escape it if he sells the car. He can give it out or he can sell it. Let him sell it back, the car he recently bought. Let him not use it. ‘’
