It would be recalled that in the last episode of the “Rants, Bants, and Confessions” podcast, dancehall star Shatta Wale made comments about Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif’s fashion sense.
During the discussion with socialites Efia Odo, Ama Burland, and Gisela Amponsah, Shatta Wale acknowledged Black Sherif’s growth but expressed his confusion over some of the younger artist’s outfit choices.
He compared Black Sherif’s style to that of Nigerian singer Asake, noting that Asake’s fashion appeared more refined.
Shatta Wale’s comments did not sit well with Black Sherif, who responded by sharing a humorous photo of Shatta Wale in an unusual outfit on Snapchat.

The caption, “I plaster everywhere,” was seen as a playful jab at Shatta Wale’s flamboyant attire. Fans quickly caught on to the humour, appreciating Black Sherif’s witty and good-natured reply. However, Shatta Wale was not amused.
In a follow-up statement, he clarified that his comments were meant as constructive feedback and that he had praised Black Sherif’s style multiple times during the podcast.
He expressed frustration that Black Sherif had responded to the criticism without fully understanding his intentions.
Shatta Wale also warned Black Sherif to be cautious, as he has a reputation for ending the careers of his industry colleagues.
“Black Sherif, you are new in the music industry. If you have heard them saying I have said something about you, you won’t go and watch the podcast and know the good things I said about you.
“Blacko, this is the same thing Sarkodie did; now people think he is my enemy. Go and ask; I can end careers, and if you don’t take time, I will end yours,” he said.
