In the ever-evolving world of Ghana’s music industry, where rivalries and alliances are often the subject of heated discussions, Sammy Flex, manager of dancehall artist Shatta Wale, has expressed his frustration over what he believes is a deliberate attempt to create conflict within the industry.
Flex’s comments came in response to DJ Slim and Sally Mann’s actions regarding MC Portfolio and the recent controversy surrounding Shatta Wale’s gesture of gifting GH₵5,000 to the artist.
According to Flex, DJ Slim and Sally Mann allegedly wanted MC Portfolio to disrespect Shatta Wale, even going so far as to suggest that Portfolio should throw the money back at Wale.

“These same people, after all this, will sit on their platforms and discuss how some artistes don’t want peace in the industry. Look at what they are doing,” Flex said, pointing out the irony of the situation.
Flex’s concerns extend beyond just this incident, as he accuses DJ Slim and Sally Mann of attempting to sabotage the relationship between MC Portfolio and Stonebwoy. “In all their presentations, some things were obvious.
They kept saying Stonebwoy should be careful of MC Portfolio. They want to destroy his relationship with Stonebwoy.
That’s what they’re after,” he added, suggesting that the duo’s intentions are to create division among key players in the Ghanaian music scene.
