Ghanaian DJ, Michael Ayenu Mensah, known professionally as DJ Mensah Disc Jockey unveiled the vision behind his Live Konnect project following Samini’s recent performance on the platform.
He mentioned that the gathering was more than just a concert, party, or ordinary event.
Rather, it serves as a special avenue for artists to engage with a specific audience that comprehends their experiences, style, and overall identity.
He expressed satisfaction with how the show has exceeded his initial expectations since its inception.
“I’m thrilled to say that Live Konnect has far surpassed my original vision.
It’s not a concert, a party, or your typical event. Instead, it’s a unique platform for artists to connect with a select group of individuals who truly understand their journey, lifestyle, fashion, and everything that defines them,” he told reporters.
He further explained that “Live Konnect allows fans to engage with artists on a deeper level and celebrate their artistry in a meaningful way.
“This past weekend with Samini proved just that, with his performance being nothing short of top-notch. I’m delighted that so many patrons agree and have embraced this unique experience.”
Samini took his turn on the show to engage with his fans, showcasing his unique musical style and reinforcing vibrant entertainment news in Ghana.
His performance drew the attendance of former Ghana Black Stars footballers, including Sulley Muntari, Derrick Boateng, and Laryea Kingston, as well Ghanaian musician Reggie Rockston and DJ Kofi.
The high-profile event, hosted by Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), took place at Soho, Marina Mall on June 29th.
