DJ Azonto is currently undergoing a rebranding process, beginning with a change to his stage name.
The Amapiano specialist has chosen to be known professionally as Ice Boss, a name that aligns with the new path he intends to pursue.
After careful consideration, DJ Azonto discussed this change with his team, who supported the idea, leading to the adoption of the new name.
He also mentioned that the input from his fans played a significant role in this decision.
“I’ve been contemplating this name change for a very long time, and I have decided to go with ‘Ice Boss’ because I am the ‘king’ of sparkling jewellery in Ghana.”
“So my team and I sat down and have finally agreed to change the name, and I hope my fans would address me as the ‘Ice Boss’ henceforth,” he said in an interview as quoted by MyJoyOnline.
Azonto also promised fans of his music some exciting new projects under his new stage name, while teasing a potential collaboration with one of Ghana’s leading rappers.
