Accra FM’s Nana Romeo has shared his views on the aftermath of divorce for women. He expressed his concern that many divorced women end up in relationships with married men, despite leaving their own marriages due to infidelity.
“The sad thing is that in this world, about 80% of divorced women become the side chicks of married men. The reason why some women leave their marriages is because their husbands cheated; they were not faithful,” Romeo said during his show.
He also expressed his confusion over this contradiction, questioning why women who divorce because of infidelity would then become the reason some men cheat on their wives.
“Funny enough, the same women who left their marriages because of their husbands’ infidelity also now become the reason why men cheat on their wives.
It’s difficult to understand if you analyse this issue. It doesn’t sit well; only the ladies can provide an explanation for this,” he added.
In 2023, Nana Romeo revealed what led up to the “unfortunate and disturbing” situation where it was alleged that Nigel Gaisie stole his girlfriend over three years ago.
Nana Romeo claimed that Nigel Gaisie had an affair with his (Romeo’s) fiancée and that he suffers emotionally whenever he recalls the cruel way the pastor mistreated him.
The wonderful connection between the radio host and the pastor broke in June of 2020 when actress and comedian Afia Schwarzenegger speculated that Nigel Gaisie had an affair with Nana Romeo’s girlfriend.
Several people were waiting for broadcaster Nana Romeo to address the problem as rumours spread, but he stayed silent.
On the other hand, in an interview with Stacy Amoateng, Nana Romeo detailed what happened.
He recalled how he and Nigel Gaisie grew close after his interview with the preacher over the death of musician Ebony Reigns went viral and disclosed that the two had bonded because of the interview.
