Diana Asamoah has fulfilled her promise by releasing a campaign song for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 general elections.
The song was unveiled during an interview with Fiifi Praat on Kingdom Plus FM. In 2023, the veteran gospel act announced her intention to record a campaign song for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in preparation for the upcoming elections.
Diana disclosed that the song had been completed before the NPP’s presidential primaries, but it was awaiting the announcement of the winner’s name.
Diana Asamoah confirmed that her campaign song is now dedicated to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who emerged as the victor in the NPP primaries and secured the party’s flagbearer position.
She expressed her unwavering support for the NPP and emphasized the significance of divine guidance in their decision-making process.
Diana clarified that the song was initially composed without mentioning any specific names, and she intended to incorporate the name of the victorious candidate, which ultimately turned out to be Dr. Bawumia.
