Ghanaian gospel musician and evangelist Diana Asamoah has strongly refuted claims of lesbianism, denouncing what she describes as an orchestrated attempt to tarnish her image.
In a passionate video shared on February 14, 2025, she addressed the allegations, making it clear that she would not be intimidated by falsehoods.
“Because I speak the truth, someone would sit somewhere and crop my picture onto someone else’s just to tarnish my image,” Asamoah said. “Whoever is doing such a thing should keep the evidence well because they will have to prove themselves when called upon.”
This comes amid increasing instances of fake social media posts and doctored images being used to spread misinformation about public figures in Ghana.

In recent years, several celebrities and religious leaders have faced similar online attacks, with manipulated photos and videos being weaponized to damage reputations. Asamoah, however, remains steadfast, declaring her faith in divine justice.
“God didn’t call me to embarrass me. Any evil thing you people are planning against me will not work because I serve a living God,” she stated.
Beyond clearing her name, the outspoken evangelist took the opportunity to caution pastors involved in unethical practices, including alleged ritualistic behaviours to attract congregants.
“I am telling pastors who are fond of sleeping with fellow male pastors in the name of rituals for people to attend your church. I want to tell you to refrain from such activities. Those involved in occultism should also stop it,” she warned.
