The final funeral rites of the Nigerian comic actor, Mr Ibu, have been disclosed by his family on various social media platforms.
The iconic actor, whose real name is Chief Dr John Ikechukwu Okafor died on March 2, 2024, after battling health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure that required multiple hospital visits.
He reportedly died at Evercare Hospital in Lekki.
When news of his death spread on social media, fans expressed their sympathies, recalling the movies in which the deceased actor starred.
The renowned actor, amidst his health issues, had his leg amputated as a life-saving measure.

Tuesday, 25th June 2024: A novelty match between Nollywood stars and Rangers International Football Club.
Wednesday, 26th June 2024: Mr. Ibu’s Night, featuring a candlelight procession and entertainment.
Thursday, 27th June 2024: Christian Wake Keep at his family compound in Eziokwe, Amurri.
Friday, 28th June 2024: Funeral service at 10 am in Amurri, following the transfer of his body from Eastern Nigeria Medical Center.
Sunday, 30th June 2024: Thanksgiving services.
