Deceptive Prophets Exploit Faith for Profit- KSM Calls Out ‘Divine Cash-Out’ Scheme

Ghanaian satirist Kwaku Sintim Misa, popularly known as KSM, has exposed what he describes as a troubling trend among some pastors in Ghana on his YouTube channel.

According to KSM, these “deceptive prophets” have created a system for financial gain that they cleverly label as “divine cash-out.”

“These prophets make false predictions about future political leaders,” KSM asserts. He explains that once a so-called prophecy appears to come true, their congregations swell, leading to increased donations and financial support for these so-called men of God.

“However, these prophecies are entirely fabricated,” he emphasizes, challenging the integrity of those who profit from this practice. KSM argues that the occurrence of certain predictions coming true does not validate the prophets’ authenticity. “They remain fraudulent,” he insists.

KSM also highlighted the pressure many pastors face from their congregations. “Many pastors who initially did not partake in the prophecy trend have shared that their congregations demand prophetic messages,” he notes.

This growing demand often forces these pastors to compromise their values, fabricating prophecies to maintain their ministries.

“Numerous pastors who did not initially focus on prophecy now find themselves compelled to provide such predictions to meet the expectations of their congregations and ensure the viability of their churches,” KSM remarked, shedding light on the moral dilemmas faced by some in the religious community.

Kwaku Sintim Misa, popularly known as KSM, is a prominent Ghanaian satirist, comedian, and television host. He was born on February 22, 1960, in Accra, Ghana.

KSM is widely recognized for his sharp wit and humorous commentary on social and political issues, making him a significant figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
