Davido’s bodyguard has refuted rumours suggesting that the singer slapped him, as seen in a viral video circulating online and dominating discussions in the entertainment news sphere.
Following Davido’s lavish wedding to Chioma on June 25, a video surfaced purporting to show the singer slapping a staff member during the event.
Many fans who viewed the video quickly criticized Davido for his alleged actions.
However, some questioned the authenticity of the video, asserting that Davido would not behave in such a manner.
While setting the record straight, the bodyguard, iamsegxy, took to social media to dispel the rumours, labelling the video as fake and clarifying that Davido did not strike him.
Instead, he explained that the singer was merely advising him to allow the individual standing in front of him in the video.
He stated;
“As regards d fake video flying on d internet.. y’all commenting shit u dont kno„ My Boss didnt slap me & Has never any Of his staff b4- He only cautioning me 2 allow d boy„ D’ boy in question appear 4rm Nowhere & tried 2 stop him beside My Boss is my Blood&Family, I understand him so well without a word 4rm his mouth„ 30BG ‘life; HML„ Boss”
