During an interview in the US, Davido was presented with a question regarding the superiority between P-Square and Castro.
This caused some confusion among the studio guests, as they were unfamiliar with who Castro was. Many of them speculated that it could be the late Fidel Castro or perhaps another musician from a different country.
To clear up the confusion, Davido, who has numerous connections in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, promptly clarified that Castro hails from Ghana. Sadly, Castro is no longer with us, but his music continues to resonate.
In the end, the Nigerian singer confidently chose P-Square over Castro during the Question and Answer session on the program.
Castro, whose real name was Theophilus Tagoe was a Ghanaian hiplife recording artist and musician.
Castro and Miss Janet Bandu were reported to have drowned on 6 July 2014 after a jet ski accident in Ada Estuary during a holiday with the Gyan brothers.
The jet ski was found on the same day, but their bodies were not recovered despite police search efforts. Details surrounding their disappearance remain scarce.
