Davido has joined the chorus of congratulations for Ghana’s former President John Dramani Mahama, celebrating what seems to be his victory in the December 7, 2024, elections.

Meanwhile, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has conceded, acknowledging Mahama’s commanding lead in early results. Official confirmation from the Electoral Commission is expected shortly.

Preliminary tallies point to a decisive victory for Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, who is projected to secure 52.7% of the vote.

His rival, Dr. Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), trails significantly with 40.1%.
