Shatta Wale’s manager, Sammy Flex, has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding the musician’s mother’s alleged homelessness, offering insight into the steps taken to resolve the issue and condemning critics who thrive on negativity.
“In September this year, we saw that the talks were dying down, and it felt like the right time to correct what had happened,” he revealed. “We instructed the team to start looking for a beautiful house for Shatta Wale’s mother. And they found one.”

This revelation comes after months of public speculation and backlash over reports that Shatta Wale’s mother was homeless.
Critics and social media commentators pounced on the issue, questioning Wale’s commitment to his family and his priorities as a prominent figure in Ghana’s music industry.
The manager didn’t mince words when addressing the wave of online criticism. “I still see people going live, talking nonsense about celebrities. They just want to say anything to stay relevant,” he said, his frustration evident.
He emphasized the damaging impact of such behaviour, both on Wale and the larger entertainment industry.
