Crayon clashed with a fan of Burna Boy who expressed his indignation at him for celebrating Wizkid following his historic concert held at the home ground of English premier side Tottenham Hotspur.
Wizkid received a note of congratulations from the musician, whose real name is Charles Chibueze, after he shut down the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London over the weekend.
He shared a photo of Wizkid at the stadium and tweeted; “Biggest congratulations biggest blessings! biggest bird! 🦅 🐐❤️”
But a tweep with handle @anoutsider4L criticised him for openly hailing Wizkid and reminded him that for taking this part, he is going to remain an underground artiste forever.
“Na why you be upcoming for four years. Thrxat gxat”
Crayon replied instantly that he is ready to take the ignorant fan on, adding since he knows God’s time is the best, he will soon reach Wizkid’s level.
Crayon was born in the neighbourhood of Orile Iganmu in the Surulere neighbourhood of Lagos State. He is an Ebonyi State native. He relocated to Ojo, Lagos, at the age of 7, where he was raised in a four-person family. He received his secondary schooling at Ojo’s Treasure Court College.
Crayon joined Blowtime Entertainment, a division of Mavin Records, in May 2019. He released his first EP, “Cray Cray,” on July 12. Crayon released “Jackpot,” a single from his second EP “Twelve A.M,” on March 26, 2021. It features Bella Shmurda. The single “Ijo (Laba Laba)” by Crayon was released on July 6, 2022, and reached its highest point at number 5 on the Turntable Top 100 list.
