US actor and rapper Common has officially confirmed his relationship with singer and actress Jennifer Hudson during an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Monday, January 22, 2023.

After months of speculation and rumours, Common’s appearance on the show provided the perfect opportunity for the couple to publicly acknowledge their romance. In a heartwarming and candid conversation, Common expressed his happiness and admiration for Hudson, describing her as one of the most beautiful people he has ever met in life.

Hudson, 42, kicked off the interview by asking the “Glory” rapper, “Are you dating anyone?”

Common, 51, replied, “Yes,” before going into details about the relationship. While he doesn’t say her name, he lists all of his partner’s accomplishments, and they all point to Hudson.

He highlighted her intelligence, love for God, and down-to-earth nature, emphasising her exceptional talent.

The pair, whose romantic speculations initially surfaced in July 2022, were seen hand in hand in November after jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banks’ exclusive one-night performance at Joe’s Pub in New York City.
