Ms. Fiona Koranteng, the Chief Executive Officer of Fiona Foods, recently shared childhood memories, disclosing that her dream as a child was to become a stripper, inspired by artists like Cardi B.

In an interview with TV3’s Cookie Tabila, Fiona reminisced about her unconventional childhood dream and the reactions she received from her parents when she expressed her desire to pursue a career as a stripper.

When asked if her childhood dream revolved around the food industry, Fiona candidly responded, “I wanted to be a stripper, I wanted to be Cardi B. I don’t know, I just thought it was fascinating.”

She recounted sharing her aspirations with her parents, particularly her father, who dismissed the idea, stating, “My dad said I was a fool, and that wasn’t going to happen. They didn’t call it a stripper then. They were called sexy dancers.”

Fiona revealed that her inspiration came from observing a dancer at Vienna City, Circle, describing the lady as “so beautiful” and expressing her desire to emulate her.

Despite her initial aspirations, Fiona acknowledged her parents’ disapproval and various life factors eventually led her in a different direction. “My parents thought I was going mad. At some point, they would bathe me with prayers. So, I knew that wasn’t going to happen, so I had to cook,” she added.
