Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor has advised ladies to put their faith in their spouses from the beginning of the marriage and not assumption that their husband will cheat on them.
On March 1, 2023, in an interview on Neat FM available to Tru News Report, Celestine Donkor said that women shouldn’t go into marriage assuming that their husbands will cheat on them because there are some trustworthy guys in the world. To her, trust is the most important aspect of a marriage, and she thinks that ladies should go into it with their guard down.
“It’s possible to find trustworthy people in any situation, but dishonest people are also possible. In a marriage, trust is crucial. In my opinion, every single person is doomed to sin. Given the nature of the human nature, every single person is capable of sinning”.
“Even people we have no reason to suspect. But nevertheless, I will admit that there are both faithful people and people who are just like that, because even Roman nuns sin”.
“Hence, if you believe your husband would cheat on you, you are entering the marriage with a serious trust issue. And you’ll start suspecting them for no reason. You should enter marriage with a strong sense of self-assurance” she remarked.
