Nigerian actor Kevin Ikeduba has expressed frustration over what he sees as an invasion of his privacy by fans, following an incident where he was secretly filmed while purchasing amala, a popular local delicacy.
In a frustrated manner, Ikeduba remarked, “Celebrity is just a title, we have our personal lives. More than five people bring phones to video me. Why them dey video me? Because I come to buy amala?”
For Ikeduba, the issue isn’t about being recognized or appreciated by fans but about boundaries being crossed.
He shared his disappointment at how casual encounters, such as enjoying a meal or running errands, often turn into public spectacles without his consent.
