Nigerian actor Kevin Ikeduba has expressed frustration over what he sees as an invasion of his privacy by fans, following an incident where he was secretly filmed while purchasing amala, a popular local delicacy.

In a frustrated manner, Ikeduba remarked, “Celebrity is just a title, we have our personal lives. More than five people bring phones to video me. Why them dey video me? Because I come to buy amala?”

For Ikeduba, the issue isn’t about being recognized or appreciated by fans but about boundaries being crossed.

He shared his disappointment at how casual encounters, such as enjoying a meal or running errands, often turn into public spectacles without his consent.

Kevin Ikeduba is a well-known Nigerian actor celebrated for his versatility in the Nollywood film industry.

Often referred to as the “Bad Boy of Nollywood,” he is known for his ability to seamlessly portray a wide range of characters, from villains to comic figures, earning him admiration from audiences across Nigeria and beyond.

Born on August 21, 1976, in Ebute-Metta, Lagos State, Kevin hails from Delta State, making him a unique blend of Yoruba upbringing and Delta heritage.

He is fluent in multiple Nigerian languages, including Yoruba, Igbo, and English, a skill that has significantly contributed to his success in both Yoruba-language and English-speaking Nollywood movies.
