Burna Boy was in the thick of affairs when he recently headlined his Lagos Concert in 2023.
The African Giant as his moniker goes was spotted kicking a fan who attempted to touch him during his Lagos performance in a viral video shared on Twitter.
As sighted in the video that has since divided opinions, Burna Boy kicked a concertgoer who attempted to touch his pants. The fan was seen in the video falling off after receiving an unexpected kick from Odogwu.
The Afrobeat sensation, who has sold out venues around the world including Madison Square Garden, State Farm Arena, and a host of others, recently revealed that he would ring in the new year with a performance in his native Lagos.
The African Giant’s stage performance did not occur until 3:30 a.m. on January 1, 2022, despite the event being supposed to begin at 6 p.m. Nigerian time.
No formal apology was given by the artist, who instead said he would have left the concert if it weren’t for street-hop group Seyi Vibez, according to various reports from audience members.
The artist, according to numerous sources, argues that Nigerian fans don’t like him because they have in the past circulated untrue allegations about him and that he is related to them.
