Slimcase has stated that Burna Boy surpasses his competitors such as Davido and Wizkid in the industry.
The singer mentioned to Tacha in an interview on Cool FM, Lagos, that despite being in the music industry for more than ten years, Burna Boy always manages to sound fresh to him.
When asked to name five new artists he admires, Slimcase included Burna Boy on his list, emphasizing how Burna Boy consistently brings a new sound.
He then went ahead to say Wizkid, Omah Lay, Davido and Wizard Chan are his other favourite ‘new artistes.’
Slimcase said; “The top five artists I am feeling right now, Burna Boy is number one. He is still a new artist. He is always new to me everyday. I am also feeling Wizard Chan, Omah Lay, Wizkid, and Baddest [Davido]. These are the five people that I am listening to right now.”
